  • three nights on Kangaroo Island with return ferry transfers from $347pp* incl buffet breakfast daily, a bottle of wine on arrival (normally $458pp)

    Unless you are a very good swimmer you will need to use a boat or an aircraft to get there.

    Lived on Magnetic Island for 8 years - full of old codgers like the people on these pages. You would fit right in; sure it is not as cheap as Fiji or Vanuatu but they do have an ambulance, doctors and a clinic and Medicare Card does work, chemist dishes out meds at $6.50 for oldies etc. Try it and you won't be disappointed.
