Australia’s State of Wonder

The South Australian Tourism Commission (SATC) certainly captured travellers’ attention, with its innovative use of a YouTube feature to show Aussies their ‘State of Wonder’.

State of Wonder took the form of a 120-hour live stream tour that showcased South Australia as a richly diverse holiday destination for all Aussies.

Brent Hill, SATC’s executive director of marketing, writes:

“From the rugged outback and crystal-clear waters to top-class wine regions and vibrant cities, South Australia has something to satisfy every traveller’s wanderlust. Our main goal was to share the state’s wonders with Aussies all over the country in the most engaging way.

“So we filmed a 120-hour live streaming journey through South Australia last October as part of our State of Wonder initiative to pique travellers’ curiosity in the rare wonders South Australia has to offer.”

From koala spotting at Mikkira Station and swimming with sea lions at the Baird Bay, to enjoying decadent wines at Adelaide Hills, the State of Wonder live stream certainly covered South Australia’s bountiful offerings as a richly diverse holiday destination for all Aussies.
