Members of Emirates frequent flyer program, Skywards, will soon be able to claim points when flying to Bali, with the airline announcing a new service to the island.

From 3 June 2015, Bali will become Emirates 148th destination, flying direct from Dubai.

Qantas enforces dress code

Passengers flying on Qantas who arrive at the lounge dressed for their beach holiday may be in for a shock. The airline will enforce its smart casual dress code policy more stringently from 1 April 2015 for passengers using its Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Perth and Adelaide airport lounges. Singlets, bare feet, rubber thongs “and clothing with offensive images or slogans” are all unacceptable items of clothing and you can be turned away of you don’t meet the standards expected.
