The weirdest, wackiest, tourism promo you’ll ever see

Yes, that’s a strange way to begin a travel article, but certainly no stranger than what you’re about to watch below.

Okay, so Denver is known as the mile-high city. Colorado’s most populous city is set near the base of the Rocky Mountains, features snow-capped vistas and a history that goes back to the days of Wild West.

The city also boasts a thriving art scene, which may explain the tack it’s taken on this tourism promo.

It’s promoting an immersive exhibit called Convergence Station by art collective Meow Wolf, which, in turn, employed creative agency Wieden + Kennedy Portland to come up with a campaign to get more visitors through the door.

The resulting campaign, Get Out and See the Worlds, is one of the weirdest, no, the weirdest, tourism video you’ll ever see.

Intrigued. I suppose that’s the point. Dive in.
