Increased Newstart income limits

If your income has previously excluded you from claiming Newstart Allowance, increased thresholds applied from 20 March 2014 may mean you now qualify.

Income above the new threshold of $100 per fortnight reduces your allowance, but how much depends on your circumstances, as outlined in the table below:

    i am an OAP, my wife is on New Start. if i earn $550 per week how will this affect our payments
