Oh-so-simple Banana Custard Pops

These Oh-so-simple Banana Custard Pops are so easy to make, we hardly think you’ll need to use this recipe at all. Healthy and delicious, they’re just perfect for when the grandkids come to visit and they (or you!) need a sweet treat.

Makes: 4

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas
  • 200ml custard (packet or bottled)

Equipment

  • paddle pop sticks
  • oven tray

Method
Cut each banana in half and insert a paddle pop stick in each end. Place on film-covered oven tray and chill in the freezer until custard is ready.

Prepare the custard and pour into a shallow dish. Remove the banana pops from the freezer and dip each one into the custard, making sure to get a good, thick coat.

Place the bananas back onto the tray and place in the freezer for two hours.

Enjoy as a healthy treat or dessert.
