As well as being a great protein source, eggs are high in biotin, a vitamin that promotes weight loss as it helps the body to process and burn more fats.

High in vitamin C, pineapple also helps to break down and digest fats, increase fat excretion and act as an appetite suppressant.

Blueberries contain an antioxidant called resveratrol that research shows might assist in burning fat.

Greek yoghurt

Peanut butter
Surprising though it may seem, organic peanut butter is rich in protein and beneficial fats. According to coachmag.com

Researchers found that feeding mice cinnamaldehyde, found in cinnamon, led to a loss of belly fat in mice. More research now suggests that cinnamon has the same impact on people, as it contains antioxidants and boosts the metabolism.

Parmesan cheese
An unlikely hero in the fat-burning game, parmesan is high in protein and calcium, both of which can help to burn calories and increase fat oxidation.

Allicin in garlic is said to improve metabolism, and gives garlic its delicious taste and smell.

Chia seeds
High in fibre and very filling, chia seeds are a great addition to your diet to help lower your appetite and improve your digestion.
