Had a look. A 3 day Swiss Rail Pass is $541 per person.
Are you for real Ben? Sorry...it's been a long day.

Rail travel can be a great way to see Europe, but as Mick mentioned it can be quite expensive, a better way for budget travellers is to use different coach companies, I use a company called National Holidays which is based in the north of England, you can join their coaches in most major cities in the UK. The way they operate is they travel from the UK either on the ferry or through the tunnel, then make their way to a hotel where you stay for the entire trip, they then do daily tours, with countries being so close in Europe you can visit a different country each day, an example was our last trip, we stayed in Belgium, did a trip to Holland and another to France and toured most of Belgium. Most of the trips with National Holidays are all inclusive including 3/4 hours of beer/wine, a trip of 9 days cost about $600 depending on the rate of exchange. The trips are not 5 star but accomodation is always clean and you always have an ensuite, the food is usually ok and plentiful.
