I google the product I am after and it gives you a long list, across the top of the screen of the product and who supplies it. If I can find it at a good price other than Amazon, I’ll go for that one. Usually BigW or good guys etc. I won’t buy from Temu or Shein. Amazon as a last resort.

Majority of mail is now sent electronically. I’m waiting for the big burst of energy that knocks out all electronic equipment. I’m good. I’ve still go a dial up phone in the cupboard, unfortunately, I don’t have a phone book should I need to ring someone. It’s go to happen, we just keep getting further down the rabbit hole and reverse will not be an option.

I got one of these last year and knew it was a scam so I text back that I thought it was a scam because you never call me mum, you always call me mummy, long story short, the text ended with them replying, OK mummy. I’m usually suspicious of these as I know what my child contacts me for and it is not a lost phone etc. Best way to deal with these is to be suspicious first and contact said child to check. Just have to be vigilant these days.

I stopped sending cards years ago. After Christmas I ended up tossing them out, which to me is waste of money and resources plus creating unnecessary waste. I started a tradition years ago with a friend. She makes a card, usually something I can hang on my Christmas tree and I do the same for her. Would be interesting to know just how much we spend on something we throw out.

I don’t bother with the discounts. I find it all too confusing at times. I am a long time customer of Pet Circle and I have found them to be friendly and helpful. When the courier delivers your order to someone else or you put the wrong address, they replace the order with no questions ask. The products are a good price without discount codes anyway
