Someone told me today that you can get an app that allows you to use your I pad like your telephone! Does anyone know if this is correct? Would it save you getting up ( I’m old) to answer the teleohone? Thank you

As a longtime music lover I am always on the lookout for new versions of older tunes and interesting new songs. But alas the radio announcers don’t always tell me who is playing so I have an App called Soundhound which is free and while the song is playing I just hold my device with Soundhound to the speaker and nine times out of ten the song and artist appear.
I can then purchase it from iTunes and add it to my extensive collection.
