Is Shorten's leadership under threat.

I have always said that I did not believe Bill Shorten would lead Labor at the next election and I sniff a change in the air already.

Apparently there is a rethink on regarding the  rules to safeguard the leadership.

..yeah - go Tanya P !!  Another amazing woman in Politics!  (or rather - one of the few left!)

Foxy,

A competent person is often not a good leader.

I watch Tanya P and she appears to me to be too nice a person for the job. There needs to be a bit of a bastard in a leader as often things need to be done that are not popular, even to friends and associates.

I would have liked to see how Julia G went with a decent majority and without the machinations that made her PM. She started off on the wrong foot and never really recovered though I think history will treat her more kindly than it will Tony A.

The next few months could be quite interesting.

Take it easy.

SD

That echoes my sentiments SD regarding Julia and TA. Tanya is a class above the general rat mentality of parliament and probably lacks the rat cunning to get the numbers now or in the future. T A has set the bar so low I doubt anyone of substance will be PM for some time.

I cannot see the public voting for another woman...could be wrong!
