Hey folks, i've been a programmer for about 18 years, but only in the last 6 months i've been working with Java for Android ...

 

Basically, if you get text appointments to say when to turn up to a centrelink or job search provider, this tool does the hard work of first reading your centrelink appointment . ..

 

extracting the date and time, then setting an alarm up to (user specified) 24 hours prior to the appointment.. thus saving you from a non payment...

The app asks for no personal info, it relies on your text messages only, if you don't get text/sms appointments this app will will just sit there doing nothing  ..

cool, open to suggestions. .. i basically want to give back to the community and help others, i have other apps i'm working on but this centrelink app is purely for unemployed and the disabled, there's no financial gain lol

 

so if you like it and would like something added to help make your life easier please do... this app is made out of guilt from relying on centerlink/gov hand outs lol...

Cjdelphi, it would be worth you contacting Drew at Admin directly to know he can put this up for use otherwise he may remain unaware which would mean only a few may see it.

Christina, have you noticed? This is a seniors site, not many students here writing essays. You won't sell much here!
