$300 to go to the moon - bargain!

Buzz Aldrin has tweeted his travel expenses for getting to the moon and back, and they may not be as much as you would think.

A travel voucher for a round trip from Houston, Texas (via the moon), which is thought to include car hire to get him to the launch site, shows the princely sum of $US33.31 (AUS $45.55). When adjusted for inflation, this totals around US$216.59 or AUS$297.22 in today’s money. Seems quite reasonable, eh?

What if it really only cost $300 to go to the moon? Would you? Or can you think of better ways to spend the cash?

Absolutely no interest in travelling beyond planet earth....

Probably more to see at my local rubbish tip than to see on the moon,  so no, I'll give it a miss also.

Debbie

Even if YLC was offering a free voucher .... for me it is terra firma.

Donate the $300 to .

Or buy swags for the homeless..

I think the business Jets that NASA use to ferry their Astronauts around Fakcons is the same ones used by the Pratt family to ferry Bill Shorten around...

i think it would be an awesome experience to go through space,    but have no real interest in the moon as such,   as no life there,     but i wouldnt go as id be to frightened of the flight,     if my dad were still alive he would have been the first to sign up,   he had a great interest in space ,   and what it holds,

I have NO interest at all in going to the moon

Maybe at the small amount we could send Bronny Bishop, its much cheaper than her expenses

lol lol lol lol - great comment PlanB !    :-)  made me "smile" today .......

(send a few more "pollies' with her also at that price.....)

Yes there are few I would be happy to send Foxy  ; )

Are you by any chance talking of sending Foxy?? Or maybe Pete?? Or both??

No interest since I found out it's NOT made of cheese!

lol - be ok if it were French Brie/Camenbert or Massdam ...lol  .... nice to see you here from the Main Forum!  Cheers ........

RAYY     Y,    why do you think we should send FOXY or PETE,  ?TWO very interesting charecters on the site,   at least they have some interesting things to say,  lol,

That's why I want them gone Cats, they're more interesting than dull, boring old me.

You haven't collected your tickets yet Cats, you won a trip to Paris, Abby entered you in the Tour de France cycling race - here is the link - your picture is on page 5..

Cheap I suggest we club together and send some there for good. Starting with Shortonbrains and Abbott, most of the lot of em plus ABC Mark Scott.

Plus those stupid academics who have suggested that the government tax meat to lift revenue - living on the usual bloated public service salaries for top echelons and these are the entitlement one along with those on higher salaries paying income tax and getting more back then paid in via Tax A as well as those getting Tax B because they have children happy enough to see pensioners go without when they paid for their own children and on one wage which is why on pension not on super as not invented back then but they dont let that stop them from feeling entitled more than the very people who built the country.

OMG we will never get enough together or find a vessel large enough for those who require to be shifted to the moon and find out how to build a democracry for themselves like our ancestors did Australia.

Guess we just have pray  people start to actually think for themselves instead of taking onboard as to many do, the view of the overpaid media most of whom as quite far left as Greens these days and now hear that left has majority of Labor 51% left . Also overpaid like CArl on 9 $1 million pa and Lisa 750K - can laugh off anything with that sort of income. Even today's stupidity and sheer greed,  when part of it. No wonder FTA has no money for decent drama for the viewers. All overpaid and loving it so cheap reality shows for punters is what they dish up.

Meaning believe in the aim of NWO so go alongwith "its warming". Even though we're freezing our b*lls off in Tassie this winter and again colder than the last as was that one also.

Dream on. Maybe one day will wake upo and find overnight many have had a commons sense injection during dreams as He has to be about ready to bring on 40 days of rain to change the criteria once again.

Where is Noah..........

Fled to another Galaxy if he has any sense and wherewithal to get there! Ha Ha.

who said you were boring RAY,     not me,    thanks for the tip off,   re the tickets,   idnt know abbs had entered me,     ill go collect   ,

going just a little of topic if I was younger I would sign up for the oneway trip to Mars

yes I know most of you would be glad to drive me to the launch pad but thats life

There are a few I would gladly pay for their ONE WAY flight to the moon but it has no appeal to me at all.

..but - what if it were made of Cheese?    French Brie' - Camenbert - Maasdam - Walnut - etc. etc. we could take our 24% lead crystal champagne flutes -  bottles of Moet' and Dom or our Verve' Cliquot'  and have a great time?    lol lol ....... (sorry - just being totally silly)  :-)
