Best known for his role as Cockney wheeler-dealer Arthur Daley in Minder, George Cole has died aged 90. Cole, who also starred in many St Trininan’s films, died surrounded by his family, after a short illness.

Why not watch Arthur Daley and his long-suffering sidekick Terry at their best?

I just loved George Cole - particularly in Root into Europe - he was simply hilarious in the journey of Mr & Mrs Root in the red jag



I really appreciated Arfur's business acumen and ethics.

Loved his characterisations; still get a laugh at St Trinians movies with his Spiv role.  Sad, but he had a good innings.
