Missed?

A thunderous clap of silence for International Men's Day, yesterday, 19th November 2018.

Being forgotten is OK if the demonisation of men and boys is also shelved for the rest of the year.

Thank you Kiah

We had not heard of it before now, certainly did not see anything mentioned on the media!

Belated Greetings for a Happy Guys Day.   Must email this to my sons.

Image result for good men should be celebrated

The same goes for a good woman....

             HAPPY BELATED INTERNATIONAL MEN'S DAY!

They missed our special day! I guess the rusted on feminists couldn't be bothered to send any greetings.

Thank you KIAH and Sophie for your kind words.

Really sad how half of humanity is ignored! Thanks to the exceptions above for their wishes. Men's groups have also been weak and ineffective in their use of the media to raise their profile. Of course, many feminists love that and are even supported by weak pussy men.

I didn't know there was an International Men's Day.

Yeah,  it was your male privilege to be missed by the news services and by politicians.

Anyhow, it is women next.  Gender fluidity is the 'Progressive' way ahead for the culture war.

Is men's day also for white men?

Perhaps there are too many "Something or other Days'

That didn't stop the ABC from recognising International Women's Day as newsworthy, promoting it AND taking management initiatives to advance women in the ABC.

Of course, having a special department exclusively for women within the PM's Dept does help.  But the media needs no encouragement.  Here is the ASX promotion of International Women's Day.

International Women's Day is compulsorily a big knees-up and taxpayers' $dosh funds many a Hilton type bash for the big knobs of the women's movement to 'network' (aka indulge in mates' favoritism while necking champus).

The elephant in the room is political correctness and men and boys are on the outer.

Interesting times.

The history books document centuries of when the male sex has been at the top of the pecking order. In fact.. by default men have enjoyed an International Men’s Day every single day of every single year…they have ruled the roost and women were allocated their place in society..by men! Men did not suffer the injustices women did simply because they were female.

Women are now beginning to enjoy some degree of equal rights, thanks to the generations of powerful women in recent history who had the temerity to protest against their second-class citizenship. However.. in spite of this.. the reality of the gap between male and female economic and political participation and education is still there. We are making progress..slowly but surely..but there is still a long way to go.

International Women’s Day is trying to redress the imbalance we have seen over the centuries ..an imbalance created by men. To be fair.. it is good we also celebrate men in today’s society with the observance of an International Men’s Day..however, to give it as high an accolade as International Women’s Day would somehow (in my opinion) diminish the hard work women are still doing to make their voices heard.

In order to understand the importance of International Women’s Day, you don’t need to be a woman or a feminist..all you need to do.. is care about a young girl anywhere in the world who you wouldn’t want to be kicked out of education, get unfairly paid for her hard work, flee from sexual violence, suffer bodily mutilation or receive less respect than her male counterpart every single day. It’s not a female-dominated society women are after. Just a fair one. Some day both sexes will be “equal” in the eyes of each other..then perhaps we can have an International People’s Day!

So suck it up LJ.

I dont care anymore. Now that women are in charge they have a great responsibility, all I ask is two things.

Now that women are the top dog, just dont stuff it up and dont make us men regret putting you on top.
