does anyone know how to get someone who at 73, still thinks they have the same sence of judgement and knowledge of the road and driving as when younger, my husband is 73 and has always driven and says he would sooner die than lose his car, while i know he has always been a good driver, i now notice he takes corners wide, and gets to close to other cars, he will take no notice of me, and wondered if anyone on CHOICES, had had to deal with this problem, would be very gratful for any advice,

thanks for your replies. have had another talk , and must admit i would be lost without this transport, but as we have buses to take us around, i will start using them, hopefully if he sees that i no longer want to get into the car,it may make him realise how serious the situation really is, fingers crossed,
