Shopped at Aldi this arvo. Still can‘t get over how cheap it is. My total bill was $43 rounded, including a tray of 6 porterhouse steaks, camembert, brie, panne di casa, 2 loaves of raisin toast, heart foundation tick margarine, 8 pack flat bread, big tub low fat mango yoghurt, pack of 30 icecream cones to put yoghurt in, 2 twin packs creme caramel.

On the minus side, I didn‘t spend much time in there as nowadays I can barely walk and though I was leaning on a trolley, my back was killing me. The young man at the checkout was very concerned as it looked like I was going to drop dead on the spot.

Woollies stock a new line from Birds Eye called Seasoned Sides. Very yummy and quick to heat up in a saucepan, grill or microwave. Frozen already cooked delicious combinations of veg in olive oil. You can have your four to five veg in different combinations all in one go. $4.99

I took home a falafel and salad kebab for my tea, yummo.

Bookwyrm, I don't know if people will continue to post here at yesterday's Today but I'm glad we have the history of the thread back. It has been going for a very long time. 

As long as you can differentiate between wants and needs and ensure that the needs are covered first, it is okay to drop a bit of sanity money on a few wants. It makes you/me anyway lol, feel like there's a bit of a point to living rather than just a daily grind.

Off to have fun shopping today as with Peter SO much better on MSM, life is SO different for us both.

Enjoy today folks 'cause in the morning, today will be gone forever. :)
