How to have sex with the same person for the rest of your life

couple in bed

According to this recent article in The Guardian:

The secret of sex with the same person for ever, says Esther Perel, the author of Mating in Captivity, is letting go of “the myth of spontaneity. Committed sex is willful, premeditated, focused and present”. She also suggests good tools for talking with your partner (or to find out things about yourself), for example, start conversations with: “I shut myself off when …” and “I turn myself on when …”

Read the article to find out nine other ways to have sex with the same person for the rest of your life.

Do you agree? Do you have other ideas?

I have been married to my wonderful husband for over 50 years..

My advice is simple...

Just make sure you sleep in the same bed as him and no-one else .

Love it, Cranky!

Agree

If you have your dog or kids in the same bed ... it is not conducive to sex.

Having sex with the same partner forever would be like eating only ham sandwiches. Much as you might love ham sandwiches, sooner or later you will crave for a hamburger. I suppose the trick to fidelity is not caving in to the cravings.

Then the trick is variation..Spice up the fillings, cheese and ham, lettace, tomato ect..

and the ham sandwiches are a bore no more... lolol.

Just keep an eye on the freshness though or you may tend to get stale and crusty...

I don't agree with Esther Perel when she says "The secret of sex with the same person for ever is letting go of “the myth of spontaneity."

No! No!...No!...spontaneity (and this is my personal opinion) is the fun of having sex. Her words "Committed sex is willful, premeditated, focused and present”, sound a bit too clinical to me. Gosh..when one's children are growing up and parents are busy with schedules etc. then that might be relevant...

This is a very well written article. It is obviously written by a female but that's OK. The trick is to get a man to read it and understand what has been said.

Beans may sometimes taste better than steak, but if you have ever been cheated on watch what you order.
