Constitutional Law and accepting defeat.

Australia and many of the United States allies are sitting poised for outcome of the Presidential elections in just a few days from now. We have watched the most extraordinarily badly behaved debates and the rudest tirads of abuse hurling at a charity dinner.

"Why were people laughing?" I thought we were brought up not to fuel the bully. It wasn't funny. It was horrible.

Are they afraid that if this man is elected then indeed heads of non supporters will roll as if we have turned back to the days of King Henry VIII?

The very foundation of democracy is at stake with this election. The freedom of choice is dependant on the population of the country accepting the decision of the majority. If Trump incites riots and civil action on Hillary's success then what happens next?

Are the military and police all on standby? There is a DEFCON level for foreign threats. Does anyone know if they have a DEFCON rating for internal disruption?

It is frightening to think America is positioned with a metaphoric gun at Hillary's head inferred by Donald, "Vote for her and we will see what I will do!"

Surely there must be something in the United States constitution to prevent this threat? Is there a similar preventative measure in our own Australian Constitutional Law? Isn't this treason?

This is what I have found from the internet however it doesn't include the what happens when the people have been incited to not obey or accept the Constitutional Law.
