3 Ingredient No Bake Peanut Butter Oat Squares

Ingredients
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • ½ cup honey
  • 3 cups rolled oats
Instructions
  1. Line a 9x9 pan with baking paper/foil. Spray lightly with non-stick spray if using foil..
  2. Melt the peanut butter and honey together until smooth, either in the microwave or stove top. Combine mixture with oats.
  3. Press into prepared pan. Place in refrigerator until set. Cut into squares.
Notes
I like to store mine in the refrigerator because they can get a bit soft.

I nearly missed this one.

Sounds easy peasy and very yum.

Have ingredients, will bake :) 

Another help to lower cholesterol.

Sounds like a good recipe ... wonder if one could half the honey to lessen the sweetness ?

Don't forget Abby that Peanut Butter usually has salt in it.

Could one use salt reduced Peanut Paste and less honey.... they sound yummy...

 

I use No Added Salt & Sugar Peanut Butter ...guess it is taste that you acquire.

I tend to avoid sugar and salt as there is both Diabetis 1&2 in our family.

 

Dr OZ has a similar recipe to yours Sandi which is also rather tasty

with dried cherries.

I wouldn't eat them full stop Deanna.  I don't like peanut butter.  Love peanuts but can't stand peanut butter.

2nd I don't buy PB I make my own for Hubby.  That way you know what goes in it.  I just buy peanuts and blitz them up.

I have Havers peanut butter.  Just made a batch of your recipe Abby above...used dried cranberries.  Taste nice...have put in frig and will give hubby a try tomorrow.
