7.30

Abbott the fearless desktop warrior ventures to the bowels of the ABC 7.30 program to confront the she devil . Ahh actually The meek Abbo is going to have a chat with fellow ex semanarian Uhlmann about the mining tax . The fought of facing Sales or the intrepid Sarah has our leader missing . For a look at our right leaning ABC the 7.30 program . Mind you I am only going on past chats between these two " adversaries " . Ulhmann was rude to Gillard and cutting in all the time while his interview with Abbo was more like tea and scones for supper .

Is our Minister for Women afraid of women?

Well, tonite was tea and not even scones, just pikelets. A shallow interview and most acts of avoidance left unchallenged. I think I'd be scared of Sarah, even if I was innocent.

I just checked it out on iview . Not in the studio and as you say , shallow interview . I was hoping to eat crow but this time at least I was on the money .

Well brought up gentlemen have civilised discussions and debates

The ABC are afraid of losing more funding.

Hahahahaha. Good one bookworm.

In a sad way you're right. They never had any integrity .

no principles hence no balls

Abbott doesn't have the guts to be interviewed by the 2 Women--he just could not handle it

This programme is still available on iView if you have missed it

IMO the PM has handled himself quite well

- certaily a lot different to above comments ????

With this sort of exposure it is no wonder his popularity is growing - and I do not like the man ?.

Will people that have watched the Programme give your honest opinion on how PM Abbott handled himself in the interview

I thought it appeared that Abbott had been given a list of the questions beforehand and had practised the answers. Agree with others that Chris Uhlmann is a very poor interviewer.

I wish Abbott would STOP waving his hands around and annswer the &^%$*(# questions !  Also as far as selling Uranium to India -- there is way too many unsafe nuclear situations now, why make even more !

For once he appeared quite fluent but that was probably because he was not being truly challenged.

He still spoke like he had to do a lot of thinking b4 he did

Well it does take a bit of thinking how to evade the question on holding back the super increase which is going to affect a lot of lower paid workers mainly woman long term. Not much benefit to them in reality of his PPL scheme.

Abbott did not hold back the super scheme it was a demand of Palmer for the mining tax repeal. If Shorten would have negiotated it would still be there.

Tell me why the lower paid will not benefit the most from the proposed PPL.

When all those working for a large company or the Government get full pay PPL now plus the minimum wage. So a pay rise ..,

those who work for small companies with no PPL scheme get a pay cut to the minimum wage.

It is this unfairness that the coalition will fix .

And it is to be paid for by a tax on big business .

Excactly Greens policy .

What about the Mothers that stay at home and look after their own kids --they miss out and thats being a proper Mother IMO

Ahhh! The proper mother

barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen

No it is loving and caring and looking after bringing up and teaching her own Child, not some one that has a Child as an accessory and going back to work to let someone else bring it up

No Vivity not much in this budget for the working class or battlers

Yes

I agree with you Jane about the Hand movements - it must be a Politician thing and they must get taught to do it - Gillard used to flap her hands as well

At least he did not have the 'nodding dummies' at the back of him - they always appear as such folls when they stage that.

A good interviewer would have asked him if he was a foreigner.

This is the second Prime Minister running we have not born in Australia

On top of an exorbitant salary we give them a pension - It should be somebody born in Australia and then we could save on a Pension at least.

Last week another case similar to this was the appointment of the Governor General of SA once again not born here

So much for multiculturism gone mad totally thrashing any possible Nationalism.

How would we save a pension?

South Ausyralia has Govenor not Govenor General . The new appointee is Vietnamese .What is wrong with that?

I thought Ulhmann was ok when he first started but Leigh sales proved to be a better interviewer , then Sarah came along, wow.
