"Why have Australian governments tipped money into Hillary Clinton's  Clinton Foundation? That it gave Julia Gillard a job and effectively a platform to now spruik Hillary Clinton for president shows just how this very dodgy Foundation works.

The Australian taxpayer shovelled at least $88 million into the Clinton Foundation and associated entities from 2006 to 2014, reaching a peak of $10.3 million in 2012-13, Gillard’s last year in office.

On the Clinton Foundation website, AusAID and the Commonwealth of Australia score separate entries in the $10 million-plus group of donors, one rung up from American teacher unions.

In 2009-10 Kevin Rudd handed over another $10 million to the foundation for climate research, part of $300 million he squandered on a Global Carbon Capture and Storage Institute.

Gillard also donated $300 million of our money to the Clinton-affiliated Global Partnership for Education.

Lo and behold, she became chairman in 2014 and has been ­actively promoting Clinton as president ever since — in a campaign video last December slamming Trump, in opeds trumpeting the next woman president and in appearances with Clinton spruiking girls’ education.

The Abbott government topped up the left-wing organisation’s coffers with another $140 million in 2014, bringing total Australian largesse to $460 million, according to a press release from Foreign Minister Julie Bishop."

Former Australian Foreign Minister Alexander Downer’s role in securing $25 million in aid from his country to help the Clinton Foundation fight AIDS is chronicled in decade-old government memos archived on the Australian foreign ministry’s website.  

 Downer and former President Clinton jointly signed a Memorandum of Understanding in February 2006 that spread out the grant money over four years for a project to provide screening and drug treatment to AIDS patients in Asia.

 The money was initially allocated to the Clinton Foundation but later was routed through an affiliate of the charity known as the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), officials said. Australia was one of four foreign governments to donate more than $25 million to CHAI, records show.

 In the years that followed, the project won praise for helping thousands of HIV-infected patients in Papua New Guinea, Vietnam, China and Indonesia, but also garnered criticism from auditors about “management weaknesses” and inadequate budget oversight, the memos show.

So I wonder if the rumour is true, that the Clintons were skimming money off for themselves.

And people that everyone voted into Government on the vary thought that they would do the right thing for Australian citizens have been ripped off blindly!!!!! How greedy can you get. One day they will be judged and things will happen kharma or not they’ve set themselves up for their own big fall !!

The Rudd Gillard governments made many forward commitments on behalf of the Australian taxpayers. This is just another one of them. Abbott got a lot of backlash over this but couldnt legally avoid it. The most stupid thing Tony Abbott did was to tell Gillard that "what the government can do the government can undo." Now you're understanding why budget reform was like turning around the titanic. Bloody Labor and the Greens almost destroyed our economy and used the GFC as an excuse.

What an absolutely appalling waste of taxpayers’ money - second only to funding black African dictators in the hope that they would vote for  Australia at the UN.

Criminal investigations involving the Clinton Foundation are now underway in the United States. Who knows we may even get back some of that money??

and let's hope the clintons end up in jail.
