Brainwashing on gender etc continues

People sleeping out in the cold.

Old people dying in their homes because energy costs are so high.

Hospitals begging for money for equipment which can save lives.

Soup kitchens with queues stretching way down the street.

Salvos and other charities swamped every day by those in dire need.

And so it goes on.   But guess what is the highest priority of current Melbourne councils.

""VICTORIAN councils are auditing libraries, schools and kindergartens and urging a ban on the terms “boy” and “girl” in a bid to teach kids as young as three to have “gender equitable relationships”. ""

I genuinely fear for the future mental health of this nations' children.

I see on news this morning there is a push for women to work a shorter week than men.

Why?  Women wanted equality...you cannot cherry pick what you want.

Why? They work faster than men  Related image

Not all women Suze...sorry cannot agree on that one kiddo lol!

Have you ever seen a man multi task   Related image

According to some pshycological scientific research men are better multi taskers than women. Men just choose not to show off because they know that a strong focus on a task will produce the best result. However, if a woman wants a man to multi task then men are more then happy to oblige.

Nup, I have not but then I am not in the workforce any more and can only go by hubby and he cannot LOL.

Even if women are better at multi tasking I do not think that is grounds for working shorter hours than a man...not in today's society where women want equality.

My old man thinks sitting on the toilet reading the paper is multi tasking!

Doodlebug

Thanks for the smile you bought to my face on this rainy day.

Yes good one Doodlebug. LOL

I am a bit housebound at the moment having had surgery yesterday and hubby has to do everything.

It is so painful to watch.   Had to show him how to set up the washer to do a load of washing.  Even where to put the liquid detergent.  He did manage to hang it  up ok.

Lunch today was an apple each...even though he did ask me and thankfully I was not hungry.

Tonight will be lamb chops and veg....which I willl guide him through...easier to do myself but I have to take it easy for a while so I will have to block out my frustration at his antics which I can foresee  lol!

:) Be thankful Radish ... when I was last out of intensive care had to do it myself.

Missed my late hubby then. He took over domestic 'duties' upon retirement because they were just not my thing.

Thank goodness for Woolies instant meals.

R-n-R yess I am very grateful that I still have him around and that is why I will not criticise him ever.  He would do anything for me...sat all day yesterday at the hospital without any complaint and no coffee in sight LOL.  Thankfully I had made him two sandwiches before we went.

I purchased one of Woolies lasangas last week knowing that meals would be scarce this week.

Had to go to the doctor's unexpectedly this morning with a minor concern and afterwards I asked hubby to go into the shop next door to the surgery and get some chicken drumsticks on special for $5.99  for 2kg.

Came back with a kilo of chicken wings at a cost a lot more than the drumsticks   Gritted my teeth and said "thank you" .  :)

HOPE you are feeling allright RADISH,     let hubby do it,    they have to learn,  lol,  can he cook the chicken wings,?      i bought a duck the other day,  [a dead one]     i havent cooked duck for years,   just like a chook if i remember rightly,
