Centrelink call centre outsourced to Serco

Private contractors will answer calls from Centrelink's welfare recipients after the Department of Human Services outsourced call centre work to multinational services company Serco.

In an unprecedented move for the welfare agency, 250 of the company's Australian subsidiary staff will take calls about payments in a three-year pilot program costing the government $51.7 million.

I worked for Serco in 2016. It employs people casually. Back then the government was paying Serco to accept unemployed people, people on disability pensions. This is about the diminishing of human dignity and how a company like Serco profits.

Yes like it said on the site if everyone that was unhappy wrote to the Minister involved they would soon have to get off their backsides and do something -- it is bloody ridiculous the way things are at the moment and have been for a LONG time

Look at the money they would save if they had Universal Pension.

CORRUPT-ED "TURN-COAT",aka TURN-(BULL), fits like a Glove, wi "SERCO". a PoisonED CHALICE.
