China suffers new COVID-19 outbreak

After declaring victory over COVID-19 in March, China has been gripped by a second outbreak of coronavirus throughout the country.

The capital, Beijing, has been the hardest hit with China raising it's emergency warning to the second-highest level as a result. Local transmissions has been essentially eradicated between April and May, but 137 new cases were detected last week.

As a result, schools have been closed, social distancing requirements have been strengthened and more than 700,000 tests have been performed over the past four days.

With Australian states lowering warning levels, are we are risk of a secondary outbreak similar to the one China is currently suffering?
