Correspondence from Charities.

Are you still receiving letters from different charities requesting donations to their association? Only today I got a thick envelope from the Seeing Eye Dogs Association or Vision Aust. as they call it. Inside there were 6 lovely greeting cards + envelopes and another 15 stickers with my name and address on it. I have donated in the past but eventually told them to take my name off their mailing list as they were sending too much in the end. I have been bombarded in the past from other charities and it looks like they are starting up again, not to mention phone calls requesting same.  DOes anyone have any ideas on how to deal with this situation, without being rude????

Hola

"without being rude??"

The only way I can think of is to cross your name and address and return to sender as unwanted mail.

That way they will hopefully get the message.

If these charities stopped wasting money on advertizing and postage they would have more money without irritating people.

Suze - Totally agree with you. The Guide Dogs Assoc. had rung  me the week before and I said "No" to their request yet they still sent these cards out to me. I have put them back into the envelope and returned them saying "No More, thanks". I wonder what part of "NO" don't they understand.
