What a lot of balderdash! Thousands of women, have miscarriages and if told an injection might save their baby, most would have it in the darn shopping centre (including me) !!

This woman was in quarantine…she could not have the injection in the hotel…she had to go to the doctor’s surgery. Many GP and specialist practices are physically unable to accommodate patients under Quarantine Orders due to the risk of COVID-19 transmission to staff and other patients.

She had her injection in the quarantine car..

So tell me…what’s the big deal??

The Progesterone injection was advised by a doctor in Greece so she would not lose the baby (her age 49).

Read between the lines - more care was taken to protect a building than the dignity of the woman.

NO WHERE in that report states she was IN a car - QUOTE: There was a nurse stationed at hotel she was quarantining at, however every three days the mother-of-five was escorted by police through the hotel basement into a private car and driven to a doctor's surgery car park to be given the injection. UNQUOTE

You are assuming it was in the car. Assumptions are what gets too many in hot water.

There is NO WAY I would accept any procedure in a damn car park, be if for the life of my child or not.

How darn hard is it to provide screening? There's enough of that in any hospital you wander into.

Today people have NO moral compass whatsoever. I see and hear it a lot and honestly in my day that would never have been permitted. Even when it came to the polio injections in 40-50's, isolation for TB in the 60's, absolutely nothing was down to humiliate a patient.

But today? A whole different kettle of fish. No concern for respect of a patient.

You think I am joking? Here's one that will really rattle your cage. I was in a hospital in 1970's and I watched a quack (does not deserve being called a Doctor) openly in a hallway and loudly enough for all to hear - "She died this morning". This woman was an Auntie to this young girl of around 16-18 years old. What ever happened to taking a person aside and telling them privately. Its since then I have seen the moral compass start steering away from true North.

This post is not for your benefit Beemee....it is for those people who may have to use a doctor's carpark for treatment during the pandemic and are put off by your nonsensical misleading information.

The woman had a Ventrogluteal injection and in order to find the right spot for this injection, she has to be lying down. The patient was in the backseat of the quarantine car NOT standing in the car park.

I still stand by what I said. Give people the respect and privacy they rightly deserve.
