Thanks Viv.

Thank goodness no more pain G. So grateful your 'passing' was peaceful.

So loved, and beyond sad to say "goodbye my friend". Will so miss our friendship.

hugs

Phyl. and Peter.

Gerry became a good friend through cyber space. I had tremendous respect for him, loved his good values, quirky humour, compassion and his love and care of wildlife, especially his wallabies that he brought up from joeyhood. I always looked for his posts on YLC and have missed his presence here over the past 10 months or so while he fought his cancer so bravely. RIP Gerry, I will miss you.

this is so sad,    i had great respect for GERRY,    loved reading his posts,    and had noticed his absence,   but assumed he was recouperating,    we had many a laugh over his footy tipping,             R,I,P,GERRY,      you will be missed,

Will miss Gerry greatly, he has been on the other side of my computer screen for a number of years now, I enjoyed his posts, his humour and his vast knowledge... I am proud to be able to call him a special cyber friend.... Deepest sympathy to his daughter, family and friends.... RIP Gerry....

Knew only through the forum posts that Gerry was unwell but have noticed and had quiet concern for his absence in recent months....Always liked the way Gerry spoke about his out-in-the-bush lifestyle....An interesting man and always enjoyed his forum contributions...RIP Gerry and my sympathy to your family at this sad time....

Have known Gerry ever since I joined YLC.  Always found him to be friendly, compassionate about his animals and willing to help someone whenever he could.  He was always good for a laugh and we often talked on PM's as friends own an animal sanctuary here in SA.  He was well known and respected by all Sanctuary's in SA and visited quite often to give advice.

I will miss him greatly.  R.I.P. Gerry.  The world will be a sadder place without you.

Like you Sandi, and the rest of our friends I am still devastated at losing such a great mate.  Gerry was just one of a kind.

He sure was Phyl and all his Wildlife Rescue People will be devastated too.

Derek, Gerry's wildlife friend over here passed away last year too, so that's now two lots of people with valuable information and help gone from their circle of people.

As you know, Gerry was devastated losing his best friend Derek, Sandi.

I can see a lot of good info and caring went with those two.

Gerry & I had different political leanings.  But let me say that he was a very intelligent & worthy opponant.   RIP Gerry.

LIKE GEOFF,    GERRY came to my rescue when my computer wouldnt do as it was told,    he went out of his way to help,   loved his tales on his kangaroos,    they will miss him too,    why is it always the good ones that have to go,?

Good bye my dear friend ... you presence will be sadly missed by the YLC members as well as the fauna you cared for.

 Our loss is Heaven’s gain.

I will be thinking of you my dear friend as you begin your final journey to heaven.
