Happiness is dog shaped

Happiness is Dog Shaped is a new book containing more than 100 dog-loving stories submitted by pet owners around the world, featuring Instagram-famous dogs, including; Life of Pikelet, Turbo Roo and Toby Little Dude, to humble house dogs.

The 120 page book was created by dog-lover and Bupa Best Pet Blog 2016 winner, Karan White.

“I wanted to publish a book which combined every day stories of the happiness dogs bring to their human families,” editor, Karan White said.

“From being a part of engagements and growing up with children, to working as therapy and support dogs – our pets are an enormous part of our lives and I couldn’t think of anything better than a book filled with dog-loving tales.”

Proceeds from the purchase of the book are donated to Happiness is Dog Shaped charity partners: Pets of the Homeless and Dachshund IVDD Support Australia.

Pets of the Homeless provides food, veterinary care and other support to the pets of people experiencing or facing homelessness. Dachshund IVDD Support Australia raises awareness and provides support to the owners of Dachshunds with Intervertebral Disc Degeneration.

Thanks Ben. You have just helped me to find the perfect Xmas present for my son.

dont do it Robi

He'll be stuck with the mutt for 17 years.

not to mention picking up poop, a dirty house, vet bills , finding a dog sitter for vacations .....

lol :)

Actually, I looked up the price. It costs $35 + $10 for postage. $45 is a lot for a book about dogs.

Doesn't matter how small they are, they still poop everywhere !

ROFL

sounds a perfect present for my daughter,    who is animal mad,     it does seem a bit pricey for a dog book,    but the proceeds go to a worthy cause,

We've had many people purchase this beautiful book for their friends, family and children and have had wonderful, early feedback.

The book is a hardcover book, which is shipped in it's own custom mailer, with more doggos on the shipping carton. Unfortunately, shipping costs in Australia are generally expensive but our shipping is guareented with tracking and signature on delivery, so you'll have no concerns for your order going astray.

The book is 'coffee-table' quality and includes over 100 stories with stunning photography, quirky images and doggy goodness from cover to cover.

Shop the Happiness is Dog Shaped book, or read some of the stories from the book over on the BarkBlog at: https://happinessisdogshaped.com/

Yes it’s the shipping costs that are expensive. I would have happily paid $35 but not $45. Are you going to sell it through bookshops?

Hello Robi :)

We are not currently planning to sell via bookshops.

But, we'd love The Meeting Place community to be able to enjoy the book. So, if you shop using the coupon code below, it will offer $10 off your order. Use coupon code

I have two dogs and they are my constant companions but unfortunatly the older one is 15 now and not doing so good. A very special diet helps her joints along with a monthly injection given by me.

People without pets are selfish unlikeable and boring to me.

On the contrary , people don't have pets because it doesnt fit their lifestyle

Some people have pets to fill a void in their lives

Sitting on a computer all day and every day knocking other's comments is a life style.

Wake up pete

I was saddened by the news about the passing of Loca the Irish pug. Loca had ataxia, which is some sort of neurological disorder. For those who may not have heard of the little pug with the big heart here is a link to his youtube vid.
