We have a 'one to one' program run by our local council, visiting an elderly shut-in person for a cuppa once a week, it suits me fine because I'm not very good in a crowd and better at one to one.   Anyway, it's been 10 years since I started, and I hope that someday, when I'm left by myself, alone in my empty house, someone from the council will visit me.
