Maybe they set off the day before election day and didn't get the news whilst still on board, LOL

strange no boats (that we know of) came from Indonesia!!!!!

This is the 2nd boat to attempt arrival on the expectation of a Labor victory based on the polls. It's obvious they were not aware of the herding behaviour of polsters. Imagine their shock en route to hear of a Labor loss?

This begs the question, what is so wrong with thinking differently these days? Why must we all conform to a majority expectation?

I understand most of those who voted early voted for Scomo...looks as thought the three weeks may be brought back to two weeks as three is being mooted as too long.

re boats..the attempted arrival of these boats proved that Morrison was correct in saying that if Labor looked like getting into power the boats would start up again.

ardnher, Labor have had time to analyse what went wrong with the election. They seem to think that it was won and lost in the last week, particularly in Queensland. Apparently, in a blow to the collective IQ of aspirational Queenslanders Bill Shorten, in comparison with Scott Morrison didnt measure up as good company over a beer at the bar? Apparently it had little to do with policy?

It didnt have anything to do with a Gladstone engineer asking for tax relief. Or a little girl asking about the future of coal. By the way, Bill Shorten's answer was 'coal will always be a part of Australia's answer to its energy requirements.' (or words to that effect). Beats me why he just didnt say that earlier? From the party which has always advocated vote early, it could have been said earlier?

During the previous election Labor had a bus load of 100 policies and didnt win. In a change of campaign strategy Labor had an enormous amount of policies, obviously requiring more air pumped into the bus tyres, but refused to give us the total number. Its anyones' guess what strategy they will adopt in 2022?
