It’s no secret that the cost of buying or renting a property has reached knee-buckling proportions.

But what if you could sidestep the whole shebang and ditch not only mortgage or rent payments, but the need to spend any money, ever?

 

To most of us, living without cash or cards sounds like an impossible dream. But for Jo Nemeth, who documents her journey under the name of Jo LowImpact, it’s the new norm.

More than two years ago, Nemeth ditched her job, rental house, car and bank account and built a shack from discarded building materials on a friend’s farm in Koonorigan, in northern NSW.

this kind of life style would suit some,   but not for everyone,   i wouldnt mind it for while,   but dont think i could live like that forever,     i love the hustle and bustle of the city,    like to know i have people around me,

Sounds graet, but what does she live on . Eat grass?. I guess you could drink only water. Speaking of which does she use soap? What does she do when she gets  flat tyre on the bike.

Wonder what she trades for other goods? And what happens when her friend decides to seel the property?

Sounds like a bit of a daydeam to me. Not even our indigenous cousins can live without money nowadays, otherwise the gov would not have to give them anything at  all!

This person acknowledges the fact that she relies on the good will of others? This does not sound like someone who is self suffiecient and does not make a some type of imprint. If you were to remove all the items in her life that make an imprint then she would find it very cold and embarrassing to say the least. To rely on the good will of others is nothing short of being a leech and abusing the friendships is the lowest of the low. I wonder if and when there is a medical issue will this person treat it with herbs and natural meds or will she be driven to the local medical clinic or hospital for treatment and heaven above she will have to endure treatment from the real world. I think the statement is : Get a Real Life.
