Microbiologist claims he knows the origin of coronavirus

A Russian microbiologist claims he knows the origin of coronavirus, saying it was accidentally engineered by Chinese scientists who did “absolutely crazy things” while developing a vaccine for HIV.

According to a New Daily report, Professor Petr Chumakov said the COVID-19 epicentre has been developing various coronavirus variants over the past decade – but not intentionally.

“They did this, supposedly not with the aim of creating pathogenic variants, but to study their pathogenicity,” he said.

But in doing so, they involuntarily created “variants of the virus” when they may have been aiming for a HIV vaccine, although they had no “malicious intent” on creating COVID-19, Professor Chumakov told Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper.

"It’s too early to blame anyone”, he said, "[but] the picture of the possible creation of the current coronavirus is slowly emerging”.

The professor wonders why people are only now starting to catch on to such controversial research, considering much of it has been published in the scientific press.

“All this has been analysed,” he said.

“It is interesting that the Chinese and Americans who worked with them published all their works in the open press.

“I even wonder why this background comes to people very slowly.

“I think that an investigation will nevertheless be initiated, as a result of which new rules will be developed that regulate the work with the genomes of such dangerous viruses.”

A spokesperson for Russian President Vladimir Putin ahs denied the speculation around the man-made nature of the coronavirus.

“In the situation where there is not enough information that has been supported and checked by science … we think it is unacceptable, impossible, to groundlessly accuse anyone,” said Dmitry Peskov.

However, the head of Russia’s Federal Medical-Biological Agency Veronika Skvortsova she said the suggestion “demands a very thorough study”.

“None of the versions can be ruled out … I think that we must conduct a very serious research,” she said.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has said an independent investigation must be launched to understand the pandemic’s true origins.

“Our purpose here is just pretty simple — we’d like the world to be safer when it comes to viruses,” he said.

“I would hope that any other nation … be it China or anyone else, would share that objective.

“Any member of the World Health Organisation, I think that should be something that should be understood and that’s part, I think, of your responsibility – or should be anyway – in participating in such an organisation,” he said.

Interesting and certainly adds weight to a proper investigation. We shouldn't jump to a conclusion from this however until the investigation is carried out and results published.

There is to much anti-Chinese sentiment around being promoted by people with a axe to grind and making utterances that have racial undertones. Some are even M.P.s here in australia.

I like your balanced response to the article in which it clearly states that what the Chinese- and Americans were doing was published in the open press, so they were not trying to hide anything then. We know that that has not always the case,  especially when the great leader tried to hush the discovery of this virus and the Chinese people themselves turned against him.

And you are so right about not wanting to unleash yet more racism against the Chinese.

I had heard of this possibility some weeks ago, it would actually bebetter if they did come clean, although I doubt they will, as unfortunaately there is a great amount of anti-Chinese propegander doing the rounds l;ong before this, and I must admit I am unimpressed with a lot of products coming out of China, but having said that, the world needs to take a breath and a step back, does the world really want to start WW3

Before we condem the Chinese or anyone else we need to be aware that most governments, including our own, are very reluctant to give information that they perceive may cause them harm or embarrassment. We only have to look at how many decades it took before the Australian and British governments were prepared to admit the atomic tests in Australia during the 1950s may have caused any harm to participants or indigenous people. Similarly with the recent issues of toxic firefighting foam used by the ADF. It was only when the government was forced to admit their error, and admit liability, many years after the effects of the foam were first raised.

This has been known for some time now. The people in the Labs in China have to come clean. However, they won't because of the danger from the Chinese Dictators.

Secret biolabs exist in most countries who can afford to have them. Waste of time listening to accusations from any of them regarding where Covid 19 originated. They’ll all point the finger to their arch enemies. What bothers me is how unconcerned Trump seems to be and how eager he is that US should own the Covid 19 vaccine when it is available. Who knows if it is already available.

The CIA has good evidence that four nations, Iraq, North Korea, Russia, and France, have secret stores of smallpox virus, according to a Washington Post report based on comments from officials speaking anonymously.

Lot of talk is rubbish.

1. There is no conspiracy by CIA or China. Leave politics out of it. At the begining China did not know (even now nobody is certain). As a totalitarian country, not surprising they lack PR and spin. Many officials chip in with different opinions. The head of China's equivalent of CDC said he never said the virus is not transferable between humans. They sacked some officials over it. Dont ever think they are viciously clever and have firm conrol.

I believe it is caused by consumption of wild animals which occurs all over SE Asia especially Thailand and Vienam, Korea and China combined with millions estimated 150 million of china tourists who spread it. These excludes students who contribute billions to US and Australia. During Sars it was caused by a person travelling to HK, at that time the Chinese were not well off and few spread it.

In North Italy where there were hundreds of Chinese working in fashion factories, they were blamed initially. It was traced to two Chinese tourists.

2. Wet markets exist in all Asian countries even Singapore where the term originated. Supermarkets or village stores only sell dry goods. You buy seafood, vegetables and meat in wet markets even though except chickens they are slaughtered elsewhere. The cement floors are easily cleaned end of the day.

FEW wet markets sell wild animals because they are NOT in HUGE demand.

Our politicians especially Duuton and Marisa Payne are stroking the flames. Trump can do this as USA does not depend on China. Australia is totally dependent on one country- China. Price Waterhouse economists said wthout China the unemployment increases by 500,000.

The virus from what I have read likes a warm moist environment and when it gets into the lungs it creates a lining covering the air sacs.   This then becomes pneumonia for its victim.

covid-19 is caused by the corona virus, which causes symptoms of coughing, tightness in the chest, and breathing... Reducing human immunity can be fatal. driving directions

Interesting reading on this link. Firstly the first person who was diagnosed with covid-19 had no link to the Wuhan wet market. Secondly bats were not sold at this market. Whether it was engineered in China or not does not mean that other countries were not involved. And one person you need to investigate is Bill Gates and look at his agenda. Truth will come out eventually, we hope.

Alarming documentary from The Epoch Times, "Tracking Down the Origin of the Wuhan Virus." Produced and narrated by award-winning investigative reporter Joshua Philipp, an expert on espionage and unconventional warfare, "

Epoch Times is published by Falunggung a banned sect in China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand etc. The members claim they are targeted for organ removal.

All of them seek political asylum. They all practise in parks etc in Australia until they get their PR then they stop. They form a very very small minority of China immigrants who could not get through normal means. Four Corners showed some immigrants now wanted by China for criminal offences back claiming they were punished for being Falunggung.

There has been a case of a Chinese girl claiming asylum for supporting the Uighur and even one young man claiming to be a defected spy. Julie Bishop had doubted the young spy who could not supply any non public knowledge information

Who is the "award-winning investigative reporter Joshua Philipp, an expert on espionage and unconventional warfare"?

Surely we Australians are smarter than this?

What has Bill Gates done against Falunggung?

Amazing reaction to my post, just thought I would see what others think and of course I got what I expected.

We will see when it all get's investigated. The truth will come out.

Professor Mikhail Petrovich (Petr) Chumakov, a Russian microbiologist died in 1993 aged 83.

Nothing in the Russian newspaper MKRU where the story was quoted.

The paper reporting on professor Petr Chumakov, 'The New Daily' (WNDR) is a satirical fake news site known by the Washington Post and research site Snopes.com as a rumour/conspiracy/hoaxing site.

Fake news.

ResearchGate's profile for Peter M Chumakov ...

https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Peter_Chumakov2

The New Daily is an online, non-paywalled, Australian newspaper established in 2013. It was founded by AustralianSuper, Cbus and Industry Super Holdings but in 2016 became wholly owned by Industry Super Holdings. The founding editor is Bruce Guthrie, currently the editorial director, who was formerly an editor of the Herald Sun and The Age.

Australia's satirical news sites include the The Shovel and The Betoota Advocate.

RnR has been conned by 'The New Daily' (WNDR) which is a fake news site different from The New Daily Australia which is a legitimate site.

FYI there has a lot of fake news site some by intelligence agencies.

Is this world stupidity day perhaps?

There is no paper called The New Daily (WNDR).

The New Daily is a legitimate paper.

World News DailyReport (WNDR) is all about fake news and has nothing to do with The New Daily.

Cheers for the links RnR.

Peter Chumakov2, Peter M. Chumakov, Petr Chumakov and Michail Petrovich Chumakov (1909-1993) all russian bio chemists with the same initials and surname...I'm outa here.

There is also this interesting article:

https://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2020/04/26/is-coronavirus-a-biological-weapon.aspx?cid_source=dnl&cid_medium=email&cid_content=art1HL&cid=20200426Z2&et_cid=DM521287&et_rid=858659417

Here is an interesting bit from it:

“I also went through the scientific article where the Australian health board working with Wuhan … genetically engineered HIV into SARS,” Boyle says. “So, that is all verified in scientific papers. In addition, it seems to me that they took that back to the [Wuhan] BSL4 and applied nanotechnology to it.

FDA Warnings

In 2005, the FDA ordered Mercola and his Optimal Wellness Center to stop making illegal claims for products sold through his Web site [22]. The claims to which the FDA objected involved three products:

Living Fuel Rx, claimed to offer an “exceptional countermeasure” against cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, autoimmune diseases, etc.Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut Oil, claimed to reduce the risk of heart disease and has beneficial effects against Crohn’s disease, irritable bowel syndrome, and many infectious agentsChlorella, claimed to fight cancer and normalize blood pressure.

In 2006, the FDA sent Mercola and his center a second warning that was based on product labels collected during an inspection at his facility and on claims made on the Optimum Wellness Center Web site [23]. This time the claims to which the FDA objected involve four products:

Vibrant Health Research Chlorella XP, claimed to “help to virtually eliminate your risk of developing cancer in the future.”Fresh Shores Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, claimed to reduce the risk of heart disease, cancer, and degenerative diseases.Momentum Health Products Vitamin K2, possibly useful in treating certain kinds of cancer and Alzheimer’s disease.Momentum Health Products Cardio Essentials Nattokinase NSK-SD, claimed to be “a much safer and effective option than aspirin and other pharmaceutical agents to treating heart disease.”

The warning letters explained that the use of such claims in the marketing of these products violates the Federal Food Drug and Cosmetic Act, which bans unapproved claims for products that are intended for curing, mitigating, treating, or preventing of diseases. (Intended use can be established through product labels, catalogs, brochures, tapes, Web sites, or other circumstances surrounding the distribution of the product.)

In 2011, the FDA ordered Mercola to stop making claims for thermography that go beyond what the equipment he uses (Medtherm2000 infrared camera) was cleared for. The warning letter said that statements on Mercola’s site improperly imply that the Meditherm camera can be used alone to diagnose or screen for various diseases or conditions associated with the breast, they also represent that the sensitivity of the Meditherm Med2000 Telethermographic camera is greater than that of machines used in mammography. The statements to which the FDA objected included:

“Revolutionary and Safe Diagnostic Tool Detects Hidden Inflammation: Thermography”“The Newest Safe Cancer Screening Tool”“[b]ecause measuring inflammation through thermal imaging is a proactive, preventative method you can use for detecting disease, which significantly improves your chances for longevity and good health.”Additionally, thermograms provide: “Reliable and accurate information for diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis. . .”“Yes, it’s true. Thermograms provide you with early diagnosis and treatment assistance in such problems as cancer, inflammatory processes, neurological and vascular dysfunction, and musculoskeletal injury.”Thermography can benefit patients by detecting conditions including: Arthritis: “[d]ifferentiate between osteoarthritis and more severe forms like rheumatoid.” Immune Dysfunction, Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue, “Digestive Disorders: Irritable bowel syndrome, diverticulitis, and Crohn’s disease . . .” and “Other Conditions: including bursitis, herniated discs, ligament or muscle tear, lupus, nerve problems, whiplash, stroke screening, cancer and many, many others.” [24]

In 2011, the Chicago Tribune reported that Mercola had not complied with the FDA’s order and intended to “fight the FDA . . . if they decide to take it further.” [25] However, in 2012, the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation asked Mercola to attend an informal conference to discuss a complaint that he was “making deceptive claims promoting thermography as a standalone diagnostic tool for detecting cancer and other diseases and is attacking the use of mammograms.” Mercola’s Web site still promotes thermography and trashes mammography, but the site stopped offering thermography appointments later that year—and Mercola’s special report, “The Safe Breast Cancer Screening Test Your Doctor Isn’t Telling You About,” is no longer apparent.

FTC Action

In 2016, Mercola, Mercola.com, LLC and Mercola.com Health Resources, settled a Federal Trade Commission complaint by agreeing to stop selling tanning beds and to pay to $5,334,067 to cover the cost of refunds and administration of the refund program. The defendants were charged with falsely claiming that their indoor tanning devices would enable consumers to slash their risk of cancer and improve the clarity, tone and texture of their skin, giving them a more youthful appearance. Commenting on the case, Jessica Rich, Director of the FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection, noted that indoor tanning is not safe because it increases the risk of skin cancer, including melanoma [26].

.......

Mercola is a FAKE

Wuhan and other wet markets in China sell bats and wild animals.

Bats are sold in wet markets in Indonesia also.

Mercola is attacked once again, did you read the article? He did not write it! All natural medicine gets attacked by the FDA because the FDA is in bed with Big Pharma.

There has never been any proof that the virus has come from bat's anyway. If there is show me Sophie, and I mean scientific research papers not articles that quote it.

Incognito..I cannot show you any scientific research which suggests that the virus came from bats, because to the best of my knowledge it doesn't exist.

By the same token, you cannot produce any scientific research that suggests Covid 19 did not come from bats, because of its non-existence.

Guess we're in the same boat..we'll just have to wait and see what happens in the coming months.

I look forward to the investigation if it ever happens, so we both rely on articles that have no basis, very hard at the moment to weigh it all up, but I am trying to see all points of view, not just main stream media that is why I post my articles to see what other's think.

Very sad to hear about the woman who died two days after receiving a covid-19 vaccine in a trial, see the Virus from China topic.
