Migraines

Just out of curiosity, are there many people on this forum that get Migraines. I have suffered for nigh on 40 years with them, as I got older they were getting so bad that I would be getting them almost fortnightly, I spent all that time with some degree of headache, 24/7 365 days per year, Hubby would take me to anybody anywhere that he had heard fixed migraines but to no avail, they would come on at the most inconvenient time and when they did it was no movement for at least 4days, had the full migraine, some of the stories Hubby tells now I shake my head and wonder why I ever left home. Then one day he came home after talking to our mechanic and said there is a Dr here in Perth that can cure your headaches, I almost died laughing, my reply was, no I've had enough, I.m destined to stay this way end of story. My Hubby being the boss in the house made the appointment anyway and I'm glad he did. I have been migraine free for over 12 months now. Just thought I would throw that out there.

I have had a headache every day for years Deanna

as you and I have already discussed :)

..

I take one to 4 Panadeine Forte every day and have for

longer than I like to think about, and I know they are

addictive but yes I take heaps of caps/tablets a day for health lol

nothing else takes my headaches away and life would

be too difficultt without them.

I know I know crazy but we do what we can and have to do.

I have seen Doctors and Physios. etc. and whatever/whomever I hear about, but still

have the headaches - because of a damaged neck re whiplash I think

and monthly events. :)

....

Congratulations Deanna finding the answer what a relief...:)

It is a relief, my health has changed so much in the past 12 months, I feel better than I did when I was 30 LOL.

I do feel for you Phyl, I know exactly what you are going through. I couldn't take Panadeine, as a young girl I started with bex, then to Vegenine then to disprin/ disprin direct and also Nurofen Plus. I think this guy is the only Person in Aus that does this treatment and I was lucky enough to have him here and even more lucky to hear about him. His treatment is not recognised by the Medical Board but they can't do anything about him as he is doing nothing wrong just fixing up peoples migraines and other soft tissue problems. My headaches were related to my neck as well.

Hello again Deanna, I also get severe headaches. The doctors tell me I get "sinus migrains" . I have just replied to your post about toothache and the headaches all tie in with them. This week I have woken with very bad headaches I have sprayed my nose, sneezed a few times, coughed a bit and had the odd painkiller, all because of sinusitis. My neighbour has a beautiful plant in her garden full of blossom, thats what is affecting me right now.

Cheers, Ann

Anne, my Drs (of which I had many over the past 40 years) all said I had migraines of all types, but in the end it was the muscles in the neck that were too tight, that simple hey. I was treated accordingly and Walla headaches gone. It's a bit sad when you wake up one morning, sit on the side of the bed wondering what is wrong with you, you could feel something was wrong as you felt so different, and what was so wrong????? no pain in the head, that is what was wrong, it just felt so good. One of our daughters got the migraines as well, she booked into the Dr (was easier for her being my daughter) and between the time that she booked and the appointment she fell pregnant and was suffering massive morning sickness, she told the Dr she was pregnant and how sick she was feeling and he told her he would treat that first, she laid down for the treatment and when it was over he told her to sit up and asked how she felt, her morning sickness was gone and she had no problems for the rest of the pregnancy, the baby is now 4 weeks old and absolutely beautiful. I can't recommend this Dr highly enough and all this without having to take drugs, how wonderful is that? He can treat a lot of complaints and I'm sure that sinuses would be one of them, if he can treat neuralgia, arthritis and so many other things I'm sure sinuses would be one, will do some research and then get back to you.

Does your neighbour know that her bush affects you that much??? if it was me I would be pulling the bush out or at least cutting off all the blooms.
