Monash University BrainHealth study needs your help
The Brain Health study being conducted by researchers from BrainPark at Monash University in Melbourne needs your help – again.
The health of our brain is crucial to everything we do, affecting how well we move, think, and feel. Recent neuroscience discoveries indicate that regularly engaging in healthy lifestyle activities, such as physical exercise, maintaining a healthy diet, sleeping well, meditating and having strong social connections – can have a powerful effect on the structure of our brain, the way it functions and our overall brain health.
The study needs your help for the last phase of data collection and specifically invites Australians aged 60 or over to participate, although members under 60 are also more than welcome. For anyway who has already completed the survey, please share with your friends and family for this final push.
Help us by completing our 10–15 minute online survey. Your responses are anonymous and all respondents can enter into a draw to win one of three $50 Coles/Myer vouchers.
The BrainPark research team will use your responses to shape how we develop new science-based lifestyle programs for better brain health, how we encourage people to engage with them in the community, and how we work with the medical system to bring them into routine healthcare. By having your say, you are helping us create healthy habits, brains and lifestyles across Australia.
