Nerves fail to ruin royal wedding

Despite high winds and tripping on her own dress, Princess Eugenie’s wedding to Jack Brooksbank was still eagerly followed by royal watchers.

Escorted by her father, Prince Andrew, Eugenie, 28, wore a gown by British-based label Peter Pilotto, featuring a folded neckline that draped into a full-length flowing train.

According to the Palace, the back-baring design was at the specific request of the bride, who had surgery at the age of 12 to correct scoliosis.

Aside from 30 members of the royal family, among the 850 guests packed into the chapel were a slew of celebrities: Kate Moss, Demi Moore, Liv Tyler, Naomi Campbell and Cara Delevingne.

Did you watch Princess Eugenie’s royal wedding? What did you think?

I forgot about it altogether -- saw a bit on the news

Loved it, thought she was a lovely bride.  Her father was so attentive too, which surprised me.  I think Princess Beatrice was the one that was asked to keep Fergie walk the straight line.  Fergie is so outgoing and happy, she reminds me of the Dutch Queen.

Celia -I did see the wedding, in fact I liked it better than Harry's wedding. Fergie looked lovely in her green dress but the extra large hat almost fell off when she alighted the car, but she just laughed it off.

97 - its allowed. :)

Did they change their clothes in the church?

Back to their granddaughter Eugenie's wedding, what a truly fine effort for Philip at 97 to be there and the Queen too.

Hope ole Philip didn't start snoring, hahaha

I thought the bridal gown and tiara were beautiful. The flower girls and boys were adorable and the colour connection between the sashes and her maid of honor and mother's outfit was very clever.

I thought the presentation was lacking for my taste - speeches, sermon, music etc - all very nice (perfect I guess) but lacked sparkle. It must be difficult for most people in the church with the divide in the centre to actually see much of the wedding.

As Eugenie has been so much of our world with her bubbling character it was lovely to see her have her moment in the spotlight and I am glad they allowed her to share it with us.

I must say the architecture is phenominal.

The couple looked wonderful..and it was just lovely Prince Philip made it..

Quite different to Meghan and Harry's wedding.. but beautiful and the cake..the cake!

Cake, Princess Eugenie Royal Wedding

Very unique. Beautiful.

What a gorgeous looking cake! I had to tape the wedding and watched it only last night.

Loved the simplicity of Eugenie's gown and the many traditions they upheld. Also nice to see granddad putting in an appearance.

A beautiful wedding with a magnificent backdrop.

Did not see too much of the Wedding but what I did was lovely - a delightful couple, the dress elegant and good for her not being afraid to reveal that scar.  How did she get that train into the Aston martin though !!

Great to see the Royals come together after some of the 'in fights' - so good to see Fergie - do hope she and Andrew do get back together.

Not so sure about that cake a 'little bit' OTT for my liking - but as long as they were happy with it .

Much happy to them both.

BOTH bride and groom looked lovely,   but that cake was hideous,    thought MEGAN  could have dressed a little better,    very dowdy  for a wedding,

Time to cut the cake!
