Who would have thought about the jelly crystals yet that is a good source of protein. It is said too that some soluble fibre is good to add.

I make fruit shakes, using skim milk and whatever berries are either in season or on special in the frozen goods - rasberries and blackberries are my favourites, add a tablesooon of bran, you can add some low fat plain yoghurt (check the sugar content), and you have a deliciously refreshing, not-fattening cool drink.

Beyond all that, the humble but proud budgie smugglers are symbols of the freedom and independence of the Aussie man, as much as the dreadful imported burka represents hideous totalitarianism and all that relegates women to concealment and slavery.

I abhor the intolerance being shown to Christians or any peaceful faith. More importantly, as a quiet, vulnerable country youth Catholic girls contributed greatly to my early development and provided much needed solace and friendly affection.
