Seating on a plane

I used to enjoy sitting next to a window when we flew to various destinations, now I am not quite so sure after the latest news out of the USA.

But I guess there are no guarantees in life especially sitting on a plane.  But with so many of these planes in use, it does make one think!

Was a freak accident - tragic, nobody in my opinion should worry about this reoccurring.

That poor woman, horrible for her and the other passengers.

I wonder if that poor lady was wearing her seat belt? They say to keep it on at all cost.

Yes HOLA she WAS wearing the seat belt

Yes, she had her seat belt on...it was the damage to her head hitting the fuselage that caused her death and she was outside for a number of minutes before being pulled back in. 

I hate the window seat and always ask for an aisle seat.

I wonder how old the plane/glass was?

Had it been fracture prior to this happening?

It happened because the safety casing around the engine did not contain the explosion, which it is meant to do, but exploded as well.  Thus sending shrapnel into the window breaking it.

Afreak accident that may never happen again.
