Susan Sarandon's bra causes a stir

At 69 years of age, Susan Sarandon looks better than many women half her age, but the usually sartorially elegant star appears to have got it horribly wrong by baring her bra at the recent Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Hosting a memoriam to the stars who have died in the last year, the busty actress opted to wear a black bra, which was exposed by a gaping ivory blazer. The outfit, while appreciated by a few, was the centre of much ire on social media, especially given the section she was presenting. Many said they were distracted by her décolletage and could not concentrate on what she was actually saying.

So, this begs the question, just because you can, does it mean you should? Ms Sarandon is, as mentioned before, a mighty fine looking woman. And while there is an argument for allowing woman to wear what they want regardless of age, is it really appropriate to bare your bra when delivering a moving tribute?
