My Husband is on Disability pension and I on Carer pension.  We have been in desperate need of external blinds for some years and are now in the position to be able to afford to have them made and installed.  The quote is $4000.00 all up.  Are we allowed to pay this out in one go without reporting it to Centrelink or are there limits and restrictions? If so how do we go about paying for these blinds. Or do I just have to make sure I make the alterations to our bank details online and that is the end of it?
