Witch hunt?

I see that Labor wants a full enquiry into a statement on election day about an illegal boat being intercepted and Morrison's role in it. They also want a full enquiry into the RoboDebt system. My question is; what does all of this achieve? We have electricity prices increasing by hundreds of dollars, cost of living increasing well beyond CPI, fuel costs increasing pressure on small business and the possibility of foot and mouth disease being introduced.

Surely what has happened in the past has nothing to do with solving the immediate problems facing the average Australian? An enquiry should be carried out if there has been anything illegal done and the illegality is continuing but RoboDebt was cancelled and those who were involved got compensation. What Morrison is alleged to have done was nothing more than pre-election campaigning. An enquiry will cost money that could be used to ease pressures by continuing the excise relief on fuel which can't be extended because of the current debt

Exactly....get on with the job Albanese and stop whinging.

Next thing ---- we'll have little radical right wing Horace claiming that Morrison really won the election, and as a result of that  election fraud we need an enquiry (after we storm the parliament). Yes, praise Donald Tr---oops I mean Scott Morrison. Now remember people, if you disagree with right wing loonies you MUST be wrong, so mend your ways. Let's praise ScoMo and Horace, our heroes.
