/Comment by Sarah Hanson Young
This comment by Hanson Young is worth noting.
Read this in an article in the West a day or so ago.
Sarah Hanson Young was quick to point out, the Greens would have a "price" if Labor fell short of majority government.
"On asylum seekers, we want to see those cruel campls closed and we want to see us giving a safer way for people to get to Australia," Hanson-Young told ABC Radio".
No doubt the "people smugglers" would be jumping with joy at that comment!
Shorten had dismissed any thoughts of co-operating with the Greens if they do not get majority government.
The lesson was learnt when Gillard was in office; the tail was wagging the dog and we know what happened there.
Rather strange that the Grand Mufti has lived here 20 years and does not speak English.
Is it that he can and does not want to speak English or is it that he does not want to learn. I find it amazing that anyone could live in a country for 20 years, hold such a high office and not speak English the predominant language in Australia.
(I am referring to the graph above which says 8 out of 10 have good or very good English).
